Custom Oak Mantlepiece

There's a saying that "everything old is new again", and that's definitely the case here at Revived Furniture and Home Decor!  Recently, Richard custom made this beautiful oak mantelpiece for one of our customers.

It began as one of these reclaimed pieces of wood that can be found on our sales floor at the far end of the store. 

Richard fashioned the corbels out of the same wood as the mantle, and then sanded the pieces, and added a clear coat for protection and shine.

It's a beautiful piece that allows the natural wood grain texture of the oak to take center stage.
