On August 26th, Old North’s historic crypt will open for tours after a 9 month renovation!
Beneath the church, visitors are invited to explore Old North Church’s historic crypt, built beginning in 1732 and the final resting place for over 1,000 individuals. Highlights of the tour include a discussion of Anglican versus Puritan burial practices and how they fit into the story of colonial Boston, notable crypt “occupants,” and discoveries from recent archaeological work.

Tickets: $10 per person (includes general admission to Old North Church’s sanctuary). Children 5 and under are free.
